By reversing the cushions, the seat depth can be adjusted to suit different preferences and body types. However, Canalit is primarily defined by its modular cushion system, which allows users to adopt a wide range of sitting or reclining positions.

The design combines ergonomic consideration with flexibility, offering both comfort and adaptability.
